Beyond the Door is a short story written by science fiction novelist Philip K. Dick. A Cuckoo clock bought by Thomas Larry is liked by his wife Doris. Ironically the cuckoo does not like Larry. His unexpected return to home on a day was embarassing for Doris and Bob Chambers, an antique-enthusiast. As they were caught red-handed and thrown out of the house by Larry. Alone in the house with the cuckoo clock, one day found dead with injuries in his head and the doctors declared the death happened due to accident. But was it accident?
