What the fuck did you think was going to happen?

Imagine how stupid the Kurdish "leadership" would have to be, to have trusted the US government, after all the previous times they have been "betrayed" over the last four decades. To reference only the most obvious examples, the way they were abandoned to the mercies of the Iraqi army in 1991, after Iraq War One, having been encouraged to rebel while the Ba’ath regime was being defeated in Kuwait. Or how the US government armed the Turkish military for decades of genocidal war against them. (hint: they are currently being bombed by F-16 jets. Where do they suppose those came from???) Or how the former leader of the PKK has been sitting in a Turkish jail for twenty years, having been handed over by the CIA.

Actually, it's quite impossible to imagine how anybody could be that stupid. They must have been paid off by the Anglo-Zionist Empire. But imagine how stupid the rest of the Kurdish national movement (especially "anarchists") must be, to have willingly followed such "leaders". It’s really hard to feel sorry for these people.

What the fuck did you think was going to happen?

The Judas Kurds were quite happy to play the part of Zionist stooges, despite genuine offers from Assad of full autonomy within the Syrian state.

The Kurds squatted on the Syrian oilfields in the north east, and burnt crops in the agricultural areas, part of the Zionist/ US plan to strangle and starve the Syrian people.

They ethnically cleansed Arabs and other minorities from areas they wanted to take over.

They need to experience some small part of the colossal misery and suffering they have inflicted on the Syrian people for so long.

Actually, I forgot to mention the most obvious example of all. These people have now spent years, and lost thousands of their friends, fighting against "ISIS". You would think that people living along the border with Turkey, would be well-positioned to observe exactly what "ISIS" is, who created it, and how it was armed and equipped. Capturing warehouses full of BGM-71 anti-tank missiles stamped "Made in USA" should have been a major clue, even for particularly dim-witted "anarchists". Stupidity is really not an adequate explanation; there's clearly something else going on.

There are many different ethnicities who do not have their own country. But they manage to live peacefully in the country in which they were born. Not everyone has to be an Israeli.

A New Middle East

The Kurdish request for Damascus protection also flies in the face of years of western propaganda which tried to justify Washington’s policy of military occupation and nation-building by convincing the world that the Syrian government was unwelcome in the northeastern region of its own country, and that “Kurdish independence” was a fait accompli. Moreover, Damascus is a step closer to securing previously vulnerable stretches of its eastern border with Iraq which the US was previously ‘managing’ and which allowed ISIS to move through and use as a staging ground for attacks further afield in areas like Sweida and Al Tanf. If a mutual security arrangement can be reached between Syria and Iraq to secure its shared border, then this would potentially revolutionise political and economic affairs in the region, and even globally.
