If you were Chief of CIA Consciousness Ops

by Jon Rappoport on Jon Rappoport

There is an obsession to say that everything is made out of something.

Who knows where it started? With the Egyptian pyramid builders? The Sumerians?

In the modern era, the fervor has reached a high point.

Physicists, biologists, and chemists are relentless in their pursuit of consciousness as a function of the brain. It has to be the brain. All those synapses and neurons and chemicals…and underneath them, the atoms and the sub-atomic particles…somehow these tiny particles conspire to produce consciousness and awareness.

Yet these same scientists deny that a sub-atomic particle carries any trace of awareness. The particles flow. They obey laws. That's all.

So the experts are painted into a corner. They then speculate: "Well, you see, the increased ability to process information, the complexity of structure—naturally, this implies consciousness."

No it doesn't.

A Ferrari is complex. So is the Empire State Building. So is the IBM's best computer. And? Where is the consciousness?

You, sitting there right now, reading these words—you understand the words; you KNOW you're reading them; you're not just processing information. YOU ARE CONSCIOUS.

If a physicist wants to say that you, knowing you're reading, are just a phenomenon of atoms in motion, let him try, let him explain. Let him do more than bloviate.

Imagine you were the chief of a CIA section called Consciousness Covert Ops. What would you try to do, given that your motive, as always, is control?

You would try to convince the population that consciousness isn't free and wide-ranging and powerful and independent. You would try to narrow the popular belief about consciousness.

What better way than to focus on the brain as the seat of all awareness?

"The brain functions according to laws. We're discovering more and more about those laws. We can determine when the brain is malfunctioning. We're learning how to correct those malfunctions."

Indeed.

You're spinning narrative about the brain as if it were a car that has to visit the shop. That's what you want. You want to make people believe their brains need fixes, because, after all, you come out of the long tradition of CIA MKULTRA mind control.

When the brain comes into the shop, you can try to reprogram it. You can experiment. You can apply the latest technology. You can attempt to insert controls. You can place monitors in the brain, in order to observe it in real time.

At a more basic, yes, philosophic level, you want to eliminate any sort of movement claiming that consciousness is separate from the brain. You want to snuff that idea out. It's counter-productive, to say the least. It could give rise to a renaissance of an old outmoded notion called: freedom.

What could be more free, more independent, more unique, more creative than individual consciousness that has a non-material basis?

You want to do everything you can to equate consciousness with the brain and, thus, the modern idea of the computer. Yes, the computer. Perfect.

"Consciousness is a computer operating at a very high level."

"All computers can be improved."

"All computers can malfunction. They can be repaired."

And then, the ultimate coup:

"Consciousness? A very old idea that, in light of the progress of technology, has no merit. It's really information processing. The brain handles that. The brain is a computer. We're learning how to build a better brain…"

You're shifting the focus of the old 1950s MKULTRA program, which mainly involved drugs and hypnosis, to a new arena. You're coming at the territory inside the skull from a number of angles. You're the next generation of Brave New World.

And right across town, the Pentagon and its research branch, DARPA, is deeply involved in a number of allied research projects. For example, the cortical modem, a little piece of equipment that costs about $10.

The gist? Insert proteins into neurons, and then beam photons into those proteins, thus creating image displays that bypass the normal channels of perception.

Virtual reality with no headset. The project is still in its early stages, but the direction is clear: give the "user" an image display beyond his ability to choose.

It's touted as an overlay. The person, walking down the street, can still see the street, but he can also see what you give him, what you insert into his visual cortex. Of course, as the technology advances, you could take things further: block out physical reality and immerse the person in the virtual.

DARPA's enthusiasm about this project, as usual, exceeds its current grasp, but its determination to succeed is quite genuine. And the money is there.

Think about this. Which way is a bright college student going to go? He can study ancient philosophy, in the least popular department on campus. He can read the Vedanta, and plow through its explications of consciousness. Or he can study biology and physics, and then try to land an entry job with the Pentagon, where he can fiddle with the human brain for fun and profit. This student has been thoroughly immersed in computers since he could crawl. He understands what they do and how they work. He's been taught, over and over, that the human brain (consciousness) is a computer. So what path will he take?

Over and above everything I'm pointing out in this article, there is a human capacity called imagination. It's the wild card in the deck. It's the greatest wild card ever known. It is, in fact, the cutting edge of consciousness. It invents new realities. It releases gigantic amounts of buried energy. And it's entirely an individual proposition.

Mac: I believe our Physical and Conscious Systems synchronize (act) via a vast decentralized peer to peer network where specialized intelligence and epigenetic learning and storing
capabilities are located at each node, i.e. there is no "be all and end all of consciousness", rather consciousness is a node in the network whose communication pathways can be jammed during
Trauma by the Amygdala Group and allied nodes (e.g. the Hippocampus translates the flashback
into the reality experienced by the conscious, the Intestines and Adrenals provide the emotions of fear and physical strength to the soup, while the Heart handles the "Think, Feel, Act with Fearless
Love" (Courage) aspects as well as providing a direct tap into the Universal Love Energy Vibration
Field and all its Harmonics… ad infinitum)

Clearly, this is a supremely democratic quantum system, the complex simplicity of which indicates
unequivocally, the only functional purpose the human brain could play is that of a Recycle Bin for
mostly Fake News from our mostly unconscious consciousnesses.

One must wonder, in response, as to whether the amygdala – out of the dozens / hundreds of such brain nuclei – is the only nucleus that embodies consciousness. A typical function of consciousness is selective attention, i.e., the focusing of the mind on a particular phenomenon, which has been shown extensively to operate via the reticular activating system, which does not contain the amygdala. Similarly, the hippocampus is intricately connected as a memory reference structure in the memorial system, i.e., pointing to the locations of distributed, but associated components of discrete memories that result from experience and, by inference, support the process of imagination… i.e., what if situations. The frontal cortex is known to "direct" behavior… so one must again wonder how the amygdala, known particularly for its evaluation and storage of the emotional aspects of conscious experience, can be the be all and end all of consciousness.

    Hi Jon,

I've been reading your stuff for a while and concluded you think along quantum arrays, as do I.

In a legal imbroglio I've been involved with (pro se) for the last couple years, the location of Conscious and it's priority (or lack thereof) in the throes of human existence became crucial to my defense of "Innocent by reason of involuntary, intrusive self defense enacted by my amygdala while under the threat or presence of mortal or critical trauma, PTSD."

The crux of the problem with raising such a defense is explaining, beyond a reasonable doubt, a life system that works in quantum time and space, and which Einstein probably wouldn't fully grasp, to scads of scofflawyers and tortfeasor judges whose brains, conscious, and conscience, each, haven't moved beyond the 1st dimension, and their attention spans are measured in nanoseconds The link below shows my bonafides attempt to communicate with this sub species:

    Human Praxis Operandi

    […]

Unfortunately, tho my findings prove the Conscious is out of body, they also prove its connection to the mind and body of its host is a physical communication line (Reality TV) totally dominated by an amygdala that can cast its host's Conscious into another space and time (fake-news), and the Conscious has no discernment of any change, let alone any power to change an amygdala's game calculation in the survival of the Human Species, which is un-consciously written to and applied solely from this amazing Quantum Relational Trauma-Base etched in our DNA (and passable to any progeny).

It bodes not well, the survival probability of the human species is directly related to the accumulation of Trauma transactions which each of us carry from the beginning of our lines.

Fat chance we'll be able to slow or turn this juggernaut around (ever) as the Amygdala is just a Quantum computer (albeit amazing) that's "decisions" are quantum math calculations with no social bias, only best chance of survival of its Host and Loved Ones. I.e. Love (non-harm) is all you need for humankind to progress, but that love must be universal between all individuals, which directly contradicts the inherent selfishness of the amygdala as designed by the gods, nature, aliens and/or whatever, which decrees survival of the fittest as defined by each amygdala, its Trauma line, and its list of loved ones, which on no account includes one's Host's Conscious, its natural born enemy.

There IS a Consciousness Covert Op going on f.e. to push illegal mass immigration in Europe – those who defend this calling the young men coming "refugees" seem brainwashed; some of the leaders (heads of NGOs, politicians, media people) might be under posthypnotic command. I've often experiecend personnel in poltics etc, being under command but a few years earlier few believd this is possible. As clearvoyant (RV) myself I always see the features of covert ops regardless how they try to cover them. Means a lot of trouble for me as hidden influence in some European counbtries is huge – I count the days till Trump is in office.

What is now also in Europe called "the globalists" were for me and others long time just forces against national sovereignty, They choose assets early as Jon describes it in interviews; sometimes persons rise to relative power who are not chosen but first underestimated, and when they realize what is going on behind the scenes they are threatened etc. One of those in Austria was former Defense Minister Norbert Darabos, who is still under pressure and bashed by the liestream. He was against US military operations and the missile shield and also against hidden US influence on the Social Democrats. I wrote the truth in the net and explained that no minister is voluntarily sealed off (not even the chief of general staff hat direct contact to the minister), what cost me my whole existence, everything… with this background I understand very well the situation of Trump:

My take, having had conversations with scientists who I found to be dogmatic to point of religiously stupid is, the Cartesian-Platonic ideas shaping their mentality actually cripples the imagination. It probably helped a LOT I had spent much of my life in non-Western culture. But, time to time, there is a western scientist 'gets' it. The theoretical physicist Bernard d'Espagnat states: "The doctrine that the world is made up of objects whose existence is independent of human consciousness turns out to be in conflict with quantum mechanics and with facts established by experiment"

This next, however, is (from my point of view) priceless:

"In 1918 Christian missionary A. McG. Beede took Yale graduate Harry Boise to the Standing Rock Sioux and Turtle Mountain Chippewa reservations on separate occasions, where Boise explained scientific ideas to tribal leaders. Beede wrote in his report that both groups immediately understood the concepts without difficulty, saying: "There is no difficulty in leading an old Teton Sioux Indian to understand the 'scientific attitude' that the processes that give rise to phenomena may be more and more known by man and may be, to some extent, controlled by man, and that in this way the forces of nature may become a mainspring of progress in the individual and in the human race. The idea of atoms and electrons is easy and pleasing to an old Indian, and he grasps the idea of chemistry." -Vine Deloria, Evolution, Creationism, and Other Modern Myths

The two tribal groups spokesmen replied to Harry Boise, following discussion among themselves:

"The 'scientific view' is inadequate to explain … how man is to find and know a road along which he wishes and chooses to make this said progress, unless Manitoo by his spirit, guides the mind of man, keeping human beings just and generous and hospitable" -Rising Sun, Chippewa

"The knowledge and use of any or all the powers of the objects on Earth around us, is as liable to lead a man wrong as to lead him right, because it is merely power, with no way of knowing how to use it correctly- except that spirit is with a man's spirit for the light" -Red Tomahawk, Sioux

This is interesting. Coming from the perspective of Silicon Valley and knowing many programmers/computer techies as well as neuro-scientists, I find as you say that there are those who learn their whole lives that the brain is as a computer; it is ingrained in them throughout their social and schooling lives. There are also those who by studying computers their whole lives alone, come to "know" that a computer is far different from the brain and its consciousness, esp. when dealing with computer 'language', automated functions and algorithms. They tend to come to a different conclusion on their own regardless of the non-sensical schooling. Those who also use their bodies through exercise and outdoor activities, which tends to be fairly normal practice in computer techies around the bay area, know the difference between tech. and life, as well as different organic functions of the brain as conscious if not just connected to the body in its natural movements. I personally know quite a few, being from a very large community of computer savvy individuals, who do not believe the brain to be an 'unconscious' computer responding to inserted data. In fact, most ponder and by the mere 'pondering', believe the brain to be sentient without tech. It's only logical that an organic brain would be very different than a commanded function inserted into a machine/computer however complex the system. Most of these very same people would, however believe in the mechanical aid of an artificial limb to aid a person who had lost one. Most when asked would not want that limb connected to their nervous system, but rather prefer something voice commanded or temporary that can be removed while sleeping. I just don't believe all this fear porn about existing humans going all out for biotech and implants. I do however believe that this is being done to cloned human experiments whether from birth or already developed; a more forced implementation by those who are already well established 'mad scientists' in the high echelons of our govern mente, who want only to do just that = govern our minds, and create an entire biotech reality for whatever lost sanity their slippery grasp on real life is able to hold.

And all I want is on-site water and much better power source. Eight years is a long time to go without either.

    Now I feel kinda – well – inadequate… NOT!!!

Try and put all of what you just expressed in simpler & cleaner terms – please.

Side-by-side with the "just a collection of atoms" view of consciousness is "just a thinking decision maker" view. The more we interface with computers and gadgets, the more we squeeze ourselves into the intelligent being model. Brainpower rules, the smartest guy wins, college degrees, good grades, and smart choices are what we are all about. Not! Watch out for the geekification trend. All brains, no guts. All talk, no action. "There's a war on for your mind" is true enough, but there is also a war to limit you to the mind. It is another form of tyranny. The mind has spoken, or the collective mind has spoken, therefore you must obey it. Listen to mind only. Limit your consciousness to information processing. Never follow your intuition against reason. Don't learn to listen to anything within you that can't be explained. Don't fall in love, but rather have a relationship. Don't live your dream, don't even have a dream, but let someone help you onto a career path that makes sense. Be smart.
