UK: 2018. French people take to the streets when faced with a new tax. The yellow jacket becomes the rallying symbol. 12 men and women tell us about the reasons behind their rebellion. Each of them gives us their perspective and reveals a unique aspect of the social movement: the roundabouts, the demonstrations, the medics, the arrests, etc. One of the people’s statements sums it up: "We found a meaning to our lives again"

Une histoire de taxe en plus fait descendre les français dans la rue avec pour signe de ralliement le gilet jaune. une douzaine de femmes et d'hommes nous expliquent les raisons de cette révolte. Chacun révèle à côté de son témoignage un aspect du mouvement social : les rond-points, les manifs, les arrestations, les medics, etc. L'un d'eux conclue: "On a redécouvert la vie".
